Undergraduate Coursework
I earned a Bachelor of Science in public relations with minors in marketing and information management and technology from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, graduating summa cum laude in December 2019.
The Daily Orange
As a design editor for The Daily Orange, Syracuse's independent student-run newspaper, I designed both print layouts and digital graphics for web and social media.
Digital Graphic

Public Relations Campaign Strategy Course
I worked on a team of five students to conduct research for a local Syracuse business called Rande Lawrence World Class Karate. Based on the research, my team developed a full public relations campaign including a situational analysis, definition of publics, goals, objectives, strategies, tactics, key messages and evaluative measures.
Public Relations Research Course
I worked on a team of five students to conduct research for a local Syracuse nonprofit called On Point for College. My team focused on researching the demographics and psychographics of organization's donor pool so that employees could effectively target a public more likely to donate. We wrote and mailed a survey to all 900 individual donors, then collected and analyzed the results to inform the organization's leadership about who their donors are.
Graphic Design Course
I learned how to use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator to produce graphic projects for communications campaigns.

Digital Public Relations Course
I learned how to plan cross-channel campaigns under an overarching digital strategy. I worked on a team of four students to create a mock social media plan for LUSH Cosmetics.
Public Relations News Writing Course
I planned a charity event with a partnership between Etsy and a nonprofit called Nest, which aids women artisans in developing economies with sustainable business development support. I wrote a media kit and executed a press conference in conjunction with the event.
PRSSA Bateman Competition
Throughout my sophomore year, I competed as an account associate for Hill Communications, Syracuse's student run public relations firm, in the national Public Relations Student Society of America Bateman Competition. My team spent ten months researching and developing a campaign on behalf of With Purpose, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about pain points related to pediatric cancer. We determined awareness levels of the organization among the student body prior to running the campaign. Then, over the course of one month, we launched social media campaigns, ran events and created a presence on campus for With Purpose. After the campaign finished, our post-survey results indicated an awareness level increase of 49 percent for With Purpose among respondents, from three percent to 52 percent.
